winter biking

17 degrees out with a windchill of 7 degrees. Last night it was colder and dark and sleety-snow was pounding my face when I biked home. I am happy that I live less than 3 miles from my office.

Still, it was cold. And my ears hurt, even with a stretchy poly balaclava type thing on my head. So I started thinking about my options, and when I got home I Googled around a bit and found "helmuffs" as pictured. I think I might try to make a set once I finish prelims...
